No, you don’t need a doctor’s referral to see us if you're paying directly or using private health. However, if you’re claiming under Medicare (Chronic Disease Management Plan), NDIS (self-managed), WorkCover, CTP, or Veterans' Affairs, you’ll need a valid GP or plan manager referral.
Please bring any relevant medical or imaging reports, your private health insurance card (if applicable), comfortable clothes for movement, and a any documentation such as referrals if appropriate
Yes — we offer on-the-spot claiming through Tyro HealthPoint, similar to HICAPS. We accept 99% of major health funds, so you can swipe your card and just pay the gap on the day. Your rebate will depend on your individual extras cover.
If your GP has created a Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously called an EPC), Medicare provides rebates for up to five physiotherapy sessions per calendar year. You’ll pay the consultation fee at the appointment and claim the Medicare rebate afterwards.
Yes. We regularly treat patients recovering from workplace injuries under WorkCover NSW claims. If your claim has been approved and you have a claim number and medical certificate from your GP, we can will bill your treatment directly to the insurer.
Yes. We treat eligible DVA patients with a GP referral. If you have a valid DVA Gold or White Card and physiotherapy referral, treatment is billed directly to DVA.
Yes. If you have lodged a motor vehicle accident claim through a CTP insurer, physiotherapy is covered as part of your rehabilitation. Early treatment often helps reduce pain and restore movement after whiplash or other accident-related injuries. Bring in your claim number and we can bill the insurer directly.
Your initial assessment runs for 45–60 minutes. In that time, we take a deep dive into your history, goals, and symptoms. We’ll assess how your body moves, perform hands-on testing, explain the diagnosis, and kick off your rehab with targeted treatment and a clear plan. You’ll walk out with more than just a list of exercises — you’ll have a personalised, goal-driven rehab pathway from day one.
Every session — whether it’s hands-on therapy, exercise progression, or progress review is built around your rehab goals. We begin with a client-centred interview to understand not just your symptoms, but how your injury is impacting your life. This helps us shape both the diagnosis and direction of your care.
Our goal is to help you get out of pain, not push through it. You don’t need to take painkillers before your session or “let it settle” before seeing us, in fact, physio often helps reduce pain faster. We’ll work within your comfort zone, explain every step, and use techniques designed to relieve discomfort, not add to it. When you leave the clinic, you’ll have strategies and tools to manage pain yourself and stay in control of your recovery.
There’s no standard number. Rehab duration depends on the injury, your goals, and your progress. We review your plan regularly and adapt as needed, decreasing frequency as you improve.
Absolutely — movement is medicine. Our goal isn’t to sideline you, it’s to keep you doing what you love, safely. We will give you a plan that includes modified activity, like changing your gym movements, adjusting your running load, or swapping high-risk drills for safer progressions. We’ll be clear about what you can do, what you should adjust, and what will help you recover faster, all while keeping you moving.
Yes, we work with self-managed NDIS participants. While we’re not a registered NDIS provider, if you manage your own funds or use a plan manager you can access our services and claim through your NDIS budget.
We focus on orthopedic conditions within the NDIS and do not manage neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's or pediatric developmental disorders.

If you’ve got a question about your rehab, home exercises, or symptoms, just email us and your physio will get back to you directly.
That’s always our aim. If your regular physio is away, you’ll be seen by another member of our team with full access to your treatment notes and rehab plan, so your care remains consistent.
Absolutely. We treat a wide range including back and neck pain, tendon conditions, post-surgical rehab, pediatric growth injuries, vestibular concerns, work-related aches, and chronic pain conditions like arthritis.
Yes. We regularly use dry needling, sport taping, and other hands-on techniques to relieve pain, support movement, and prevent flare-ups as part of your care.
We understand that life happens, but if you need to cancel, please give us at least 24-hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows incur the full consult fee, as that time was specifically reserved to support your recovery. Our goal is always to help and keeping that appointment time protected means we can stay on track with your rehab and offer timely care to others in need.
