Physio & Advanced Assessment

You've done the exercises. You've seen a physio. But your progress just isn't where it should be. Sometimes it's not about working harder but getting a clearer, more accurate diagnosis.

Clear diagnosis. Structured plan. Measurable progress.

What is an advanced assessment?

An advanced assessment is a deeper diagnostic session with one of our APA Titled Physiotherapists  for when progress has stalled and you need a clearer answer than 'rest and see how it goes.'

We review everything that's come before; your history, scans, and prior rehab, then re-assess to find what's been missed or misinterpreted. It's not about starting from scratch; it's about moving forward smarter.

Who we treat

We look after a wide range of people — from active teenagers and busy parents to tradies, office workers and retirees.

Is this you?

Pain that isn't improving as expected

Mixed or confusing advice elsewhere

Unsure if you have the right diagnosis

Told to "just stop exercising"

However you're referred

Seeing us privately, or with health insurance

Covered under Workers Compensation, CTP or DVA

On a Medicare Care Plan from your GP

No private health cover at all — that's fine too

Regardless of how you're referred or funded, you get the same thorough assessment, clear communication and structured plan. Your background doesn't change our standards, the goal is always to understand what's going on and help you move forward with confidence.

What to expect

Your assessment is guided by three simple principles.

01

Listen first

We take time to understand your full story — not just where it hurts, but how it's affecting your training, work, sleep and confidence. We want to understand the person, not just the body part.

02

Test, don't guess

Where appropriate we use VALD Force Decks, dynamometry and video analysis to measure strength, asymmetry and movement — objective data we can track over time.

03

Plan with purpose

You'll leave with a clear Injury Management Plan: your diagnosis, what's contributing to it, and the steps to move forward — structured and evidence-based, not 'rest and see how it goes.'

Right explanation that changes everything

Seeing one of our APA Titled Physiotherapists; Ellie, Kieran or Murray takes your diagnosis and management to another level. You'll leave with more than exercises: a genuine understanding of what's driving your injury, and a clear plan built to move you forward.

Clarity, confidence and momentum in your rehab because sometimes, the right explanation changes everything.

Clarity

A CLEAR, EXPERT DIAGNOSIS THAT FINALLY MAKES SENSE
