About Matt
Matt is a physiotherapist with a strong background in sport, movement and education.
Before becoming a physiotherapist, Matt worked as a qualified Physical Education teacher, bringing a natural ability to explain, coach and build understanding into his rehabilitation sessions. He combines this with hands-on treatment and structured exercise programming to help patients rebuild strength and confidence.
Matt has worked with multiple sporting teams across Newcastle, including the Newcastle Jets Academy and NPL football clubs. His clinical interests focus on lower limb rehabilitation, knee injuries and football-related conditions.
He enjoys working with active individuals of all levels — from competitive athletes to people simply wanting to move and train with fewer limitations.
Outside the clinic, Matt is passionate about sport, enjoys watching his favourite teams the Eels and Tottenham win on the rare occasion.
